Comment by Dorothy Beach on November 11, 2009 at 10:30am - Yes I have seen this before through Twitter and also have another "Semantic Search" video for my "Far Future of Recruitng" preso - but it's exciting isn't it? Sensing self as well as sensing outward - what is going on in the world and how to filter all that info while having it be presented to you in a way you want. I blogged a "Day in the Life of a Recruiter 2013" to illustrate how this might play out for a recruiter - makes the function highly valued-added. You know there's a Researcher Fellow at Microsoft that has been taking pictures with a camera around his neck, every 10 minutes, for the past several years. He has used this sensing data to evaluate hislife processes and I think that is where we are going - sensing but also allowing the data to be in one place to. So segments of our life - career, health, finances, family - ALL of its data will be in one place. Well - enough said.
