I wanted to start a blog, so I could also start sharing my ideas and views about Recruiting, interviewing, sourcing and all issues and topics related to Recruiting. Many of you have emailed or contacted me, regarding Recruiter-Talk and being involved with it - to help it grow and succeed and to this, I do say THANK YOU!!
I started this networking and Recruiter site because I was tired of always going to my favorites and not having the one source, to find the information, I needed to do my job. I had links, listed that included different job boards and recruiter sites. I also was looking for a forum, to discuss ideas and issues that I may run into through out the day, while I am recruiting. I like to network and share ideas, I do not claim to know everything and there are others out there who can help me, when I have questions. When I launched Recruiter-Talk - It really grew fast, I was unprepared for the response that I first received. For the First blog, I wanted to share our vision and mission and then go from there.
Our goal and mission is to build an open source site for recruiters to utilize. A one-stop site for your reference links, discussion forum, recruiter job openings and recruiting information. Feel free to look around and if you are interested in a discussion just sign-in and add your thoughts and opinions. Since this site is Built by Recruiters for Recruiters, we take suggestions seriously, so please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you have links, you use and would like to see on here, please let us know. Would you prefer to use and see other information - again, just let us know.
I would like to thank the other organizations and partners that have helped us grow these last couple months. With out them, we would not be where we are today. Some of these partners included Openreq.com, Worthington Resumes, Recruiter Relocation, Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group and Brokerhunter.com.
