Phone sourcing is the quiet creeping about.

When the Newman Group recently asked 500 staffing professionals where they felt the pain in talent acquisition, nearly half identified candidate sourcing (43%) as their greatest concern. And once candidates were found, they listed deficient skill sets (61%), job locations (49%) and competitive salary (47%) as the primary obstacles to hiring. The report goes on to examine results-driven versus passive approaches to sourcing tactics and strategies, recruiting operations, technology, recruitment strategy, and metrics. The study is titled Talent Acquisition 2008: Survey and Analysis of the Changing Recruiting Landscape.
