I then convert it however they want.

Tell them to use the Internet generated names to build out teams inside the companies.

Tell them you want to see contact info - direct dials or extensions IF POSSIBLE.

That way they're more likely to check and recheck their work.

It's a good place to start.

Tell them you wan to be able to sit down at your desk- call the person and be able to reach them.

W/out much fuss.

At the very least you want to see the main numbers of the locations where those people are located.

So you can be transferred to those people.

Sometimes the consultants are listed in a separate directory.

You have to tell her to open the "Consultant Directory".

Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes those kinds of companies - the kind that put consultants out in the world at a 50% mark-up - won't tell you anything - will deny knowing anyone!
