Toni (guest): Maureen, HI. In sales 101 I was taught to ask a question and SHUT-UP, the first one who speaks loses. Same is true for phone sourcers, IMHO.

MaureenSharib: DV: How do you prepare for a call? What is the simplest way to prepare for a phone sourcing call?

MaureenSharib: My opinion: Take a deep breath. Oxygenate. A deep breath will relax your body. Three deep breaths will transport you.

DesertViews: by asking myself what is the reason I calling this person for. What information I looking for..

DesertViews: yes, also for call prep, I have done research about company and person(s)

MaureenSharib: Once you have those answers, then what? Do you write them down? How do you put the answers into call context?
