I had an interesting experience recently while phone sourcing.

I’m trying to pull machine-learning dudes out of some very high tech companies.

These are the guys who are working on how to make sense out of data.

It’s a fascinating branch of artificial intelligence.

One of the highest tech Silicon Valley companies- you’d do a klinker for sure if I told you who – I will tell you they’re in Mountain View - is one of the companies my customer wants targeted.

When you call the Mountain View headquarters nobody live answers.

Ever.

The automated VoiceMail tells you if you know the extension of the person you want to reach, enter it followed by the pound (#) key.

Reason asserts, unless you know the extension – how can you reach the person?
