Could this be one of the answers to long term unemployment?
Something interesting happened on the Recruiting Animal radio show yesterday.
The guest, an unemployed wealth management analyst told us that one of the reasons she felt she was so long unemployed (since August, ’09) was that her industry had morphed as a result of technology.
She mentioned that many of the jobs in her sector (finance) were now being outsourced because of it.
It struck me as tragically comic…
