Dr. Janice Presser, RN, PhD did a “Teamability” assessment on me to see how I work in a team environment.
It was interesting.
Taking the “test” I didn’t see how it could produce results.
But it did and they surprised me.

We just pulled a group of 58 at a major world-class defense company here in the U.S.
19 are on LinkedIn.
Most of them only say "Engineer" (or some variant) in their titles and would not be identifiable as being in the correct group my customer wanted (mechanical subsystems) w/out going calling in and pulling the names directly from the company!

In the coming year I'm going to keep a running tally here on the different jobs I do and report the percentage of names I gather by telephone sourcing that are on LinkedIn.
I just finished an IT job and you'd think IT would be heavily represented on LinkedIn, wouldn't you? (I did - I figgered it would be second to LinkedIn's most populous and ravenous population - recruiters and sourcers!) It may still well be.
