While at Intuit he led the Tech Sourcing team, but was recruited into Microsoft by Shally Steckerl (where he also worked with Glenn Gutmacher and Jim Stroud). He has also been an Exec Sourcer for Amazon.
Previous to his Sourcing focus, he has been a Sr./Lead Recruiter at Cingular and Cisco Systems. He has worked with several small and start-up companies as well.

- Sourcing is the absolute heart and soul...the core...of Recruiting. Show me a Recruiter that can't Source and I'll show you an Administrator.

You mentioned in your bio that you started out as a Recruiter at Snelling. Do you believe it's necessary to first work in Recruiting in order to do pure sourcing as a career. Do you belive one needs that framework to be able to be a successful sourcer (telephone or internet). Thanks for your input! Please let me know when you complete your book - I'd be very interested in reading it!
