What do you think sourcing brings to the recruiting process?
Sourcing is the difference between a mediocor candidate and a superstar.
Do you think one type of sourcing produces better results than another? Which and why?
Direct sourcing is always my favorite...identifying the competition and going in for the kill. The phone is the most effective and gives me immediate gratification.
Quick and Dirty - if you had six hours to source 50 Process Engineers in the chem/energy/food/pharma industry what would you do?
I would run a search on companies with these candidates then go after them. In running a quick search did not find many resumes out there on the net...going direct would most likely be the best decision. I would hit 2 companies with the limited amount of time.

The same but dive deeper...looking at associations and targeting them
